Boscarne Junction lies approximately 2 miles (3.5 km) from Bodmin, although it's only a short, pleasant walk from the carpark at Dunmere. It was the original start point of the Camel Trail and in earlier days it was the junction for lines to Bodmin, Wenfordbridge, and Padstow.
