OS Explorer Maps are the Ordnance Survey's most detailed maps and they are recommended for anyone who enjoys outdoor activities like walking, horse riding and even off-road cycling. Providing complete coverage of Cornwall, the OS Explorer map series details other essential information including; youth hostels, a selection of pubs & inns, visitor information and of course rights of way, permissive paths and bridleways. The OS Explorer series works at 1:25000 which is about 4cm to the kilometer or 2.5 inch to the mile, and it's easily enough for casual rambling or even more serious hiking. Maps are usually printed on both sides too.
