Penberth Cove lies approximately 7 miles (11 km) southwest of Penzance in west Cornwall. Once home to a pilchard fishing industry and still happens to be one of the last few remaining traditional fishing coves left in Cornwall, with a few local fishermen still making their living from fishing for mackerel, lobster and crab.
